TRUE TEAM STATE
The Austin Packer Boys Track Team has done it again! They are the repeat champions of their section and have the opportunity to compete in the MN True Team Track and Field Championships in Stillwater, MN on Saturday, May 16. You can click on the link to take you to the schedule. Jacob will be competing in the first and the last running events! He runs the 4 X 800 m relay and the 4 X 400 m relay! Here (click this link) are the directions to the meet, if you want to come and cheer!
Jacob’s 4X800 Relay Qualifies for the Hamline Elite Meet!
Tomorrow, Friday April 24, Jacob and his Austin Packer track team buddies will head to the Twin Cities for the Hamline Elite Meet, where high school track athletes in Minnesota become eligible to enter the meet based on performance.
The Austin 4×800 relay qualified last Saturday at the Austin Invitational with a time of 8:15:91. The relay will run at 5:45pm.

Larson updates…March 09
My baby is 17 today(written 2-27-09)! Time sure flies by!
Jacob Andrew Larson is an amazingly talented guy…but I guess I am a bit biased! He’s active in sports (soccer and track are his main focus) and he is also much involved in music, playing the string bass in the high school orchestra, electric bass in the youth praise band and sings in the choir and Austinaires (select show choir) and is a member of the MN All State Men’s Choir!
It has been so long since I have updated this blog, that I’m not sure if I should just start over….since I last wrote, I had surgery to reattach the hamstring tendons and have gone through rehab. I have regained nearly all my mobility and flexibility, and just have a bit of soreness to deal with.
We have had so much happen in the last year….
David and Emma got married
- Sara was crowned Miss Capital City
- Matt and Ali got engaged and are getting married in 3 weeks! (March 28 in Boulder, CO)
WOW….I am going to try to be better at keeping up with this blog, along with all the other stuff of life. I have started a Bible-reading blog, too.(Click on the link…) Don’t let the word “blog” scare you! It is just a website that has the capability for me to write daily updates, and anyone who would like can read it and make comments.
